This bare bones, straight forward adaptation lent itself to ensemble-style storytelling, candlelit music, and ghost stories by firelight. Both grand and simple, we embraced the ancient yet timeless desire to gather around and tell the story again - how Scrooge lets his heart be broken open - as though we couldn’t have believed it the first
thousand times.
I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me…
